Mike Faria's journey in the construction industry began with a focus on finish carpentry, working with a company focusing on projects in the hospitality sector. In 2019, Mike's career trajectory took a turn when an employee he knew currently working with Unified, presented him with an opportunity to join the Environmental Division of the company
As a people person with a genuine respect for others, Mike seamlessly transitioned into his new role. Assigned to one of our most complex projects to date at Alewife Park, his exceptional performance demonstrating his leadership and strong communication was a catalyst for his promotion to his current role as Field Supervisor.
Unified is proud to have Mike Faria on the team, contributing not only his expertise but also his exemplary leadership skills to elevate the success of our Environmental Division projects. His commitment to excellence and reliability continues to shape the success of Unified and is highly regarded by his peers.
If you weren't in the construction industry, what field would you be in?
Going back to my carpentry roots, I would like to open my own carpentry shop where I would create one of a kind furniture pieces and cabinets.
Name a few items on your bucket list.
Sky diving and traveling to Australia are on the top of my bucket list!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
For my honeymoon, we went to the Grand Cayman island and absolutely loved it. It would be awesome to travel there again or even live there...someday!
When you're not on site, where can you be found?
My family and I enjoy going to the beach and when I get some time for myself I like to go mountain biking. When I am enjoying family time, I like to hang out with my two year old son who just started playing soccer.
