Sam Conley
Project Manager

Guided by his past 17 years of field construction experience, Sam Conley brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding demolition and abatement to his current role as Project Manager. Intrigued by construction from the start, Sam took his first steps into the industry while still in high school working for a South Shore roofing company. In 2006, he joined Local 1421 in the Building Wrecker’s Union, advancing his career.

Twelve years of working in the field and in field supervision/ operations later, Sam is able to bring those years of experience and knowledge to his role as Project Manager. Sam knows what it takes to seamlessly operate a demolition and abatement project, making him a valuable member of our team and an essential contributor to our Environmental  Division.

What is one of the more unique projects you have worked on in your career?

The most unique project I've worked on was when I was working in the field. We had a project Harvard's Fogg Museum. We had to demo the building down to the structural steel while working around and keeping intact a fresco mural that could not be damaged. That one was a cool challenge!

What are some of the more notable projects you have worked on while working with Unified?

Working on the Alewife Park project- especially the soil remediation portion- has been very notable. I also have enjoyed working  on the Boston Children's Hospital Sanderson Renovation and  the historic Huntington Theatre.

Where can you be found on the weekends?

I enjoy spending time two my dogs. My wife and I just added a golden retriever puppy to our family!
